   Statement:
The Organization of Postdoctoral Scientists (OPS) was founded
in May 2001.
The mission of the OPS is to serve UTMB by providing information, support, and encouragement to all Postdoctoral Fellows progressing towards advancement in each of their respective scientific careers.
Part of the campus at UTMB
We are committed to continuing education and fostering opportunities to teach and collaborate within and outside of UTMB, in addition to offering counseling in career paths and funding sources available to Postdoctoral Fellows.

   Current News and Events:  
  • Looking for postdocs interested in becoming officers for the OPS. Please contact bakrishn@utmb.edu
  • The next NPA annual meeting is to be held at M.D. Anderson (March 27-29) and UTMB is a proud participant
  • The National Postdoctoral Association (NPA) held its annual meeting at Boston, MA from April 24th through April 27th. UTMB has a sustaining membership to this organization that is a non-profit one benefitting the development of postdocs. Each UTMB postdoc can become an affiliate member for free and benefit from the Newsletters and E-alerts in addition to a lot of information.
