for Nominations: GSBS Distinguished Faculty Research Award
The
GSBS Distinguished Faculty Research Award is presented to a
faculty member for research conducted within a period of not
more than three years prior to the nomination. We are pleased to
honor the Distinguished Faculty Research Award recipient during
Commencement ceremonies on May 7th, 2005, at William
C. Levin Hall.
Nominations are to
be made by faculty and students. Research to be considered must
have made an impact on a broad field of science, must be a
contribution to the solution of a significant problem, or must
show ingenuity and originality in the application of novel
techniques to an important area of science.
To nominate a
faculty,
send a letter of recommendation
no later than March 1, 2005
to the attention of the Dean, Graduate School of Biomedical
Sciences, UTMB, Route 1050.
