The GSBS Distinguished Alumnus Award is presented to a graduate who has achieved special recognition in his or her professional career. We are pleased to honor the Distinguished Alumnus Award recipient during Commencement ceremonies on May 7^th, 2005, at William C. Levin Hall. 

To nominate a graduate, send a letter of recommendation no later than February 1, 2005 to the attention of the Dean, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, UTMB, Route 1041. 

1. Nominee should have received a masters or doctoral degreee for work done at UTMB Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.

2. Nominee’s contribution might include research, teaching, science administration, consultation, editorship, officer of scientific societies, participation in symposia, etc.
