Welcome to the Graduate
School of Biomedical Sciences in Galveston, Texas on the Gulf of Mexico.
Our school is located at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB),
where the original state medical school and school of nursing were established
over 100 years ago. There is much to see during your “virtual” visit to
our campus. Whether you are a prospective student or faculty member, a
current student or faculty member, an alumnus or a curious visitor, we
think we have something that will be of use or of interest to you.
We have a rich cultural and academic
tradition here in Galveston, and we boast a dynamic, research-intensive
faculty, who perform cutting-edge research. Our electronic brochure is
